Originally conceived as a newspaper column for a local paper in Montana, The Square Peg found new life as a blog series nearly a quarter of a century later.. While the editors of the paper did not share my enthusiasm, not to mention my sense of humor, the electronic wonder box netted me an audience. So the columns I wrote between 1981 and 1983 that never saw the light of day grew into something bigger. There’s something to be said for thumbing one’s nose at editors. The Square Peg takes a wacky look at life, especially life in Texas suburbia. Join me, Bingo Bob, Duncan Donutz, Col. Duffer, Patti Peeksalot, Paula Pettingzoo, and all the other zany characters in Mr. Codger's neighborhood. Oh, and don't forget to smile, laugh, and generally improve your outlook on life... or you might find yourself in my next book. Life is a short trip, you might as well have fun and enjoy it!

Author of children's, wilderness adventure, and humorous books.
